Colonel Bailey’s Dungeon is an historical tour of the St. John’s Fort in Barbados, a British-built fort built in the 1600s. The dungeon is a dark and dingy dungeon that was used to hold prisoners during the time of the fort’s occupation by the British. It was named after the officer in charge at the time of its construction, Colonel Robert Bailey.
