The Chandrasekhar Temple is a Hindu temple located at Gudur, Andhra Pradesh, India. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu who is worshiped here in the form of Lord Krishna. The temple is also sometimes referred to as the Varadaraja Temple as it is located near the Varadaraja Swamy Temple. The temple dates back to the 10th century and is believed to be one of the oldest temples in the region. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.

History:

The temple is made up of an inner sanctum and an outer hall, both of which measure about 54 feet. The inner sanctum houses the main deity in the form of Lord Krishna. The two tier rajagopuram, facing east, measures about 80 feet in height. The entrance of the temple is supported by a gopuram and a mandapam. Additionally, the temple also houses several smaller shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and other Gods. There is also a large tank or water reservoir located near the temple.
