Chaturbhurj Baba Deva Sthan In India: History,Facts, & Services
Overview:
Chaturbhurj Baba Deva Sthan is an old temple in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India and is visited as an important pilgrimage center. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is a part of Ravindra Nath Ji Mandir. The temple lies on a hill, near the Mayur Van based on the so called Legends. The Chaturbhurj Baba Deva Sthan is said to be the abode of Lord Shiva and the Sage Chaturbhurji Mahato. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The temple has a huge tower structure, known as Mast. It is covered in four domes and was built by Maharaja Ramchandra Pratap Shah of Rewa in 1927. Inside the Mast is a Shiva Lingam and four deities representing four directions. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
Interesting facts:
It is believed that the temple is built over the site where Lord Shiva killed Raja Bali with his trident. People also visit the temple to perform religious rites and invite Baba Deva’s blessings.Visit one of the famous monuments of India with your friends and family.
