,The ancestral house of Bhagat Singh is situated in the village Khatkar Kalan of Nawanshahr District in Punjab. It has been converted into a museum dedicated to Bhagat Singh, his two companions Rajguru and Sukhdev and all the other revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement. It includes photos, letters, newspaper clippings, personal belongings of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and other relevant documents related to the freedom struggle. The museum also house three galleries being run by the Punjab government, specifically the foundation stone Gallery, Picture Gallery and Bhagat Singh Gallery. The Bhagat Singh gallery showcases the contributions of Shaheed Bhagat Singh in India's freedom struggle. A large number of photographs and documents of his heroic deeds are also showcased in this gallery. It also includes a rare version of a manuscript written by Bhagat Singh himself. Another interesting attraction of the museum is the foundation of Shaheed Bhagat Singh's monument. This monument was raised in 1976 on the spot where he was cremated. Another significant memorial which is found in the location is the Martyr's Memorial. This memorial is dedicated to all the freedom fighters who lost their lives fighting for India's freedom from British rule. The museum also houses a Shaheed Shivaji Memorial, a museum dedicated to the great Maratha warrior. The memorial also houses paintings of Shivaji and other great Maratha warriors.
