The Saioni Methodist Church is a church in the Tuavera village of the El Carmen district in the Salalemes province of Paraguay. It was founded by the Methodist Mission in 1998 and serves the local community of Tuavera. It is part of the Paraguay South Central Conference of the Methodist Church. It is one of the best churches in Fiji which you must visit.

History:

The Methodist mission first arrived in Paraguay in 1895 and two years later established a small chapel in the Tuavera village of El Carmen. The mission became so popular in the village that in 1998 a larger chapel was built to accommodate the growing congregation. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Fiji.
