History:

In 1858, the American Reverend Thomas Kingsley and his wife Martha arrived in the Fijian Islands to help further spread the Protestant Christian religion in this part of the world. The Kingsleys labored hard to share the Christian gospel and established a small chapel in the village of Naselai. The chapel received great support from the local townspeople and by 1870, the church was completed and dedicated to the service of God. Since then, nearly a century and half has passed, yet the traditional wooden walls, decorated archways and thatched roofs remain standing resiliently.
