Narocivo Methodist Church is a historic African-American congregation located in the small town of Narocivo, Lawrence County, Tennessee. This Methodist congregation was founded in 1864, just after the Civil War, by former slaves who organized and attended worship services once they were granted the right to do so in church. The church was used as a sanctuary not only for religious services, but also for educational and social gatherings.
