Narocivo Methodist Church is a historic African-American congregation located in the small town of Narocivo, Lawrence County, Tennessee. This Methodist congregation was founded in 1864, just after the Civil War, by former slaves who organized and attended worship services once they were granted the right to do so in church. The church was used as a sanctuary not only for religious services, but also for educational and social gatherings. The church is well known for its history, as well as the many services and activities it provides to the people of Lawrence County. It is one of the best churches in Fiji which you must visit.

History:

The Narocivo Methodist Church was founded in 1864, by former slaves who had previously attended various small churches in the area. The church was originally led by Reverend Alfred Lamar, a former slave who escaped from slavery and made his way to Lawrence County. Reverend Lamar was instrumental in organizing the church and providing spiritual guidance for its members. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Fiji.
