Gateway Harvest Centre was established in 1984 by a group of volunteers from churches, schools and other non-profits. The centre provides food supplies, clothing and other essential services. It also provides a number of educational and employment opportunities to low-income individuals, families and seniors in the Greater Toronto Area. Founded in 1984 by a group of volunteers, Gateway Harvest Centre has grown greatly in size and capacity over the years. What began as a small, grassroots charity serving a dozen families quickly grew to serving over 10,000 individuals, families and seniors in need each year. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Fiji.
