Family Rescue Worship Center was founded in 1998 with the mission to build strong families and to make an impact in Birmingham, Alabama and in the surrounding area. In addition to its ministry, FRWC also provides services to assist in meeting the needs of those struggling with financial difficulties and other forms of poverty. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Fiji.

FRWC has grown from a small congregation to a multi-site church with satellite locations around Birmingham and in the surrounding area. Currently, FRWC has 12 satellite locations and two main campuses in Birmingham and Homewood.

FRWC offers a variety of services including worship, teaching and preaching, youth and children’s ministries, recovery ministries, a food pantry, and humanitarian outreach.
