History:

Calvary Temple began as an independent Christian ministry in September of 1963 by Pastor Steve Gifkins. In its early years, the church gathered in a junior high school in Arlington, Virginia. By 1966 the church had outgrown its first facility, and moved to the Virginia Square area of Arlington. In 1975, Calvary Temple began to form satellite ministries around the Northern Virginia area, and in 1977, the church moved to Sterling, Virginia. Since then, the church has grown and expanded its membership to over 10,000 members. Calvary Temple This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Fiji.
