Haljala Church is a 14th-century Gothic-style church located in the rural municipality of Haljala, in northeastern Estonia. The church was originally built in 1336 and is the oldest surviving church in the municipality. The church is built of stone and brick and consists of a single main hall, a chancel, and a tower. The original interior decorations, including a ceiling fresco, were lost in a fire in 1775. The church still retains its original furnishings, including a Renaissance-style, 14th-century marble altar. Services in the church are held regularly by the Lutheran church. The church also hosts a variety of cultural activities throughout the year, including concerts, art exhibitions, and workshops.
