Pastor Külaots and his wife, Helje, a former pastor in the Baptist Church, were two of the first missionaries to arrive in Estonia after it declared independence from the Soviet Union. They planted a seed in the hearts of the people of Rakvere for the gospel to grow. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Estonia.
