Small shrines known as 'Stupas' are located around the temple building and these are lit with butter lamps and offerings of rice, fruits, and incense made. High lamas also recite Buddhist scriptures and offering blessings to the local community. Worshippers can either attend daily devotions (which usually takes place at 8am and 4pm) or more formal ceremonies held throughout the year.
