Berea Bible Chapel in Belize was founded in 2002 by Pastor Jeff and Shireen Kriztoff, a family from the United States. The Kriztoffs felt led to start a Bible-based ministry in Belize and began holding outdoor services in 2003. Attendance grew steadily and it was not long before a building was constructed in Mullins River. Regular services were held in the chapel and the Bible Chapel in Belize has since served as a key outreach to the local people. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Belize.
