Kostel Sv. Ioanna Krestitelya is a Russian Orthodox church located in Moscow, Russia. It was built between 1642 and 1645 by Bogdan Zheshkovskiy on the initiative of Tsar Mikhail Feodorovich. It is famous for its five golden cupolas, each depicting the life of Jesus, hence its nickname “Tsar of Cupolas”. The interior of the church is decorated with frescos and icons from the 18th and 19th centuries and is a site that is visited by both believers and non-believers alike. Kostel Sv.
