The Temple of the Icon of the Mother of God In Minsk is a Roman Catholic church which was built in 1901. It is located in the center of Minsk. It is a distinctive building amongst other local buildings. The church is dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God, that is believed to have been painted in the 800s by the Greek monk Andrew. It was brought to Minsk in the 10th century and is said to have performed many miracles. The interior of the church is decorated in a traditional Eastern Orthodox style and features a number of religious artifacts that have been collected over the centuries. The temple also offers a range of religious services to the local community, including a prayer room, counseling services and a youth ministry.
