The St. Ilya Church was originally the home of a Russian immigrant family in the 19th century. In 1951, a parish was established and services were held several times a year. The church was officially consecrated in 1956, and in 1975, a new church building was built and dedicated. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Belarus.
