Mikhaylovskiy Khram was built by architect Konstantin Thon, who was commissioned by Tsar Alexander II. Construction was completed in 1844 and the church served as a place of worship for the Royal Court throughout its history. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Belarus.
