The church was founded in 1965 under the leadership of Pastor Winfield and Mrs. Iva Gibson. It originally began in a small storefront, until it moved to a larger facility in 1967. Since then, the church in Barbados has had several move-to-location changes and expansions. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Barbados.
