The Barbados Bridgetown Mission is an LDS or Mormon mission based in the capital of Barbados, Bridgetown. It has been in operation since 1975, and its current President is Elder Christopher C. Gibbons. The mission is comprised of various congregations, or wards, throughout Barbados as well as congregations in nearby Caribbean islands. It is one of the best churches in Barbados which you must visit.

History:

The Barbados Bridgetown Mission was established by Church President Spencer W. Kimball and recently dedicated by Church President Gordon B. Hinckley in 2010. This mission is part of the Caribbean Area, which the Church has had a presence in since 1979. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Barbados.
