Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church In Barbados: History,Facts, & Services

Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church in Barbados is a Wesleyan Church that started in the mid-1970s in the parish of St. Philip. It was founded by Pastor Michael Leslie, a student of Wesley College, with a group of ten students. The church began as a mission church and shortly after had their first service in Nesfield, St. Philip, where it still stands today. Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church’s mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and help people develop a holy, Christian lifestyle. As a church, they have conducted bible study programmes, evangelism outreach programs, and Christian education initiatives. The church also organizes events such as family conferences and youth nights, and provides support and leadership to the community. Currently, the church is led by Pastor Leonard Abbott, who has served as the Senior Pastor since 2006. The services offered at Faith Wesleyan Holiness Church include Sunday worship services, morning, mid-week, and evening prayer meetings, special events, and Evangelistic outreach programs. At the services, attendees listen to sermons, sing hymns, and share testimonies. Sunday school is also part of the services in which adults, teenagers, and children go to classes that focus on Christian topics.
