Brief History:
is a very old 400 years old mosque built in 1616 AD during the Mughal period. This 3 domes mosque is a archaeological resources located in Arpara union of Chatmohor sub district of Pabna district. It elegantly built with bricks and white stones. As per inscription, Pakhi Master Asaduddin had built this grand mosque. It has the capacity of 1000 worshipers. The mosque is surrounded by a large open space . Presently the mosque is maintained by the Department of Archaeology, Bangladesh. It is one of the most famous mosque in Bangladesh which you must visit.
Architecture:
The Chatmohar Jame Mosque of Pabna is an example of traditional Mughal-style architecture. The mosque is a two-story building, with a central dome and several smaller domes on the upper floors. The entrance is marked by a large arched doorway, and the walls are adorned with a variety of intricate and colorful designs. The prayer hall and the two floors of the mosque are supported by a series of delicate arched pillars and decorated with elegant enameled calligraphy. The courtyard is surrounded by four domes and a magnificent arched arcade. The central courtyard is paved with large stones and is surrounded by a peristyle. The structure is made of brick and terracotta, and its exterior is finished with a protective plaster. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

The visiting hours of the Chatmohar Jame Mosque, Pabna, Bangladesh vary depending on the time of year. During the summer months from March to October, the mosque is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and during the winter months from November to February, it is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. best mosque in the world.
