Burichong Jame Mosque is a centuries-old historical mosque located in the village of Burichong in the Comilla district of Bangladesh. The mosque was built in 1575 AD by Sultan Shuja and is still in use today. The mosque is notable for its intricate brickwork and corbelled arches. A nearby pond with a fountain is also a point of interest. The mosque is a popular destination for Islamic pilgrims, as well as for tourists. The Burichong Jame Mosque in Comilla, Bangladesh, is an example of traditional Islamic architecture. The mosque is square in shape, with a gate on each side. Its walls are made of brick and the roof is made of terra-cotta. The four corners are covered by four domes, and there is a white marble minaret in one corner. The interior is decorated with calligraphy paintings. There is a central nave and four side-aisles, with a place for the Imam to officiate at Friday prayers.
