Built in 1841, the mosque is a single-domed building constructed from local brick, with a central courtyard surrounded by fifteen smaller chambers. The entrance to the mosque is a large, arch-shaped doorway in the center of the facade, with smaller arches surrounding the two outer sides of the entrance. The walls of the building are decorated with intricate patterns of mosaic tiles and terracotta, and a beautiful oriel window is located in the corner of the main prayer hall.
