It is a single-domed brick-built mosque with a wide mihrab built with several Islamic symbols like Koranic inscriptions, floral motifs and geometric patterns. The mosque has four entrances, each of which is intricately embellished with enormous terracota artistry. The northern entrance is larger than the others and features a large stone inscription written in Arabic. The main prayer hall is divided into four aisles (rukn) and is decorated with beautiful multi-coloured tiles. Inside the mosque, there is an octagonal shaped minaret which is one of the most attractive features of this place. The mosque also contains twelve square shaped chajjas (windows) on the west facade, which give the building a unique look. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
