Brief History:
: The Shabran Central Mosque is located in Shabran, Azerbaijan and was built in 1921. It is among the oldest mosques in the country and is considered to be one of its most beautiful and important historic monuments. The mosque is made of baked brick and lime and its walls and domes are heavily decorated. The mosque was built by a prominent master Yusuf Usta and reflects the traditional Azerbaijani interior designs and decorative elements of that time. The mosque is still used for religious purposes and is visited by people from all over the country. It is one of the most famous mosque in Azerbaijan which you must visit.

The Shabran Central Mosque is located in the town of Shabran, Azerbaijan. It was built in the 19th century, and it is one of the oldest mosques in the region. It has a rectangular plan with a large domed prayer hall. The mosque has two minarets at the corners and a domed portico at the front entrance. Inside, the mosque has a large prayer hall with a mihrab, minbar, and sepulcher. Its dome is supported by 12 massive pillars. The walls are decorated with intricate Islamic patterns in terra cotta. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
Visiting Hours:
The Shabran Central Mosque in Shabran, Azerbaijan, is open to visitors daily from 8am to 6pm. The mosque is also open for late night prayers from 10pm to 12am according to Islamic prayer times. Shabran Central Mosque is located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, in the city of Shabran. It is easily accessible by car or public transportation. By Car: If you are driving from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, take the Baku-Shabran freeway and drive for approximately 70 kilometers. Take the exit towards Parkimli and follow signs for Shabran. The Central Mosque is located near the center of the city. By Public Transport: If you are travelling from Baku, take a local bus from the central bus station towards Shabran. The journey takes around 2 hours and costs around AZN 3 (1 USD). Once in Shabran, the Central Mosque is a 20 minute walk from the city center. beautiful masjid.
