Antigua Clay Works (ACW) is a family owned and operated business founded in 1970 by brothers Des and Albert Hoyte in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. Their parents Immigrated to Antigua from the neighboring islands of St. Kitts and Nevis. The brothers began making clay bowls, mugs, jugs, and other pottery in their backyard. Soon their products generated attention from the local market. Since the 70s, Antigua Clay Works has grown to become one of the leading suppliers of fine pottery and craft items in the Caribbean. Their line of products have expanded to include dinnerware, kitchenware, garden accessories, and decorative pieces. In recent years, the Hoyte brothers have launched a series of products celebrating the history and culture of their native island, including a limited edition collection called “The Arawaks of Yellow Bird.” Today, Antigua Clay Works continues to produce innovative and unique products of the highest quality for their customers.
