The Djelfa Mosque in Algeria was completed in 1975 and is considered to be one of the largest mosque complexes in North Africa. The building is clad in white and green Moroccan-style tilework and features carved stucco ornaments. There are massive bronze-clad doors and stained glass windows set into the walls, offering views of the prayer hall. Inside the prayer hall, there is an intricate blue and gold cupola and other decorative elements. The inner courtyard has a large reflecting pool, fountains, and gardens.
