Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple or Keshavdeva Temple

Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, or the Keshavdeva Temple, is the birthplace of Lord Krishna, located in the city of Mathura. The place was actually a prison cell where Lord Krishna, Mata Devaki, and Vasudeva spent time in captivity at the hands of his evil uncle Kansa. The temple is important to Hindus because it is thought by most people to be where Krishna first appeared to humans. 

Many kings tried to demolish the temple several times, but with financial help from industrialists, the local people rebuilt it.

Take a holy dip at Vishram Ghat

As we all know, Mathura lies on the bank of the Yamuna River, with around twenty-five ghats along its bank. However, the most sacred one among them is the Vishram Ghat. it is located just five kilometers outside of Mathura, and people often visit this ghat and take parikrama there.

Kans Qila
