Worship Method:
The worship method for all temples in China is essentially the same. First, before entering the temple, one must bow or kowtow three times to pay respect to the Buddha and its objects worshipped in the temple. Once inside the temple, worshippers should kneel or sit with palms held together in prayer and make an offering of incense, paper money, or fruit. The worshippers should remain respectful and not make too much noise. Temples often require donations to support its activities or upkeep. Prayers may be said or sutras may be chanted.
