The Museum of Contemporary Art - Caracas, Capital District in Venezuela (MACC), opened to the public in 1989. MACC was designed by Venezuelan architect Carlos Raúl Villanueva, and was the first contemporary art museum in the country. For over 20 years, MACC has been an institution for developing and exhibiting the most relevant example of contemporary art in Venezuela.
