The worship at Bilvkeshwar Mahadev Temple is conducted according to the rules and regulations laid down by the Hindu religious texts such as Puranas, Agamas etc. The devotees are supposed to take a holy bath before entering the temple as it is a sacred place of worship. Once inside, all the devotees are expected to offer prayer to Lord Shiva in the form of flowers, fruits, incense sticks and Camphor diya. The main form of worship is the Rudrabhishek in which water is poured from either Gangajal, milk, butter etc on Lord Shiva.
