The history of Hatta Heritage Village dates back to the late 19th century when a group of Bani Yas families settled in the area to take advantage of the abundant natural resources. The village developed as a center for farming, fishing, trading, and art. Many of the traditional buildings were constructed over the next several decades, and the village flourished.
