History:

The Dubai Butterfly Garden originally opened in 2016 as the largest butterfly park in the world. The park was designed and constructed by GROHE in partnership with Meraas, a company with a keen focus on sustainable solutions. The park consists of seven naturally-themed climate controlled domes where over 15,000 carefully selected butterflies fly freely within. The garden is home to 50 local and 16 international species of butterflies. The species of butterflies were carefully selected to thrive in the environment. Every dome in the park was developed to simulate the conditions and landscapes of an individual natural region, such as South American subtropical rainforest, Western Australian bush, African Habitat, and Asian Tropics.
