Worship Method:
The Worship Method of Wat Rai Khing in Thailand is based on the Theravada Buddhist tradition. Visitors to the temple are expected to follow the five precepts which are abstaining from killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying and drinking alcoholic beverages. Another basic requirement is that visitors should sit quietly and respectfully with their legs crossed, their hands folded in their laps and their eyes closed. When worshiping, they should chant a Buddhist blessing such as "May all beings be free from suffering and attain peace". People can also offer incense or money to the Buddha statue, as well as pray for good health, success in business, etc. They can also perform meditation or recite sutras, and make offerings of food and fruit.
