The Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Nellore is one of the famous temples dedicated to Lord Ranganatha, the Supremebeing of Hinduism. This temple is an important pilgrimage destination for devotees of Vaishnavism and Sri Vaishnavism. The worship method in this temple is called Archa Homa (full ablution) or Kumbha Snana (sacred bath). The devotees perform various religious rituals in the temple after taking an abacus bath.
