The worship method of the Rajagopalaswamy Temple in Mannargudi, Tamil Nadu varies according to the time of day and the occasion. Generally, the poojas are conducted in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night, with each pooja session having a different set of rituals. During the morning pooja, a puja is conducted for Lord Vishnu’s manifestation as Sri Raja Gopala. This includes the chanting of Vedic hymns, invocations of God, and offering of prasad and flowers to the deity.
