History:

is a Hindu temple located in Seethakathi Street, Thiruvanmiyur in Chennai. The temple enshrines Lord Shiva as the Marundeeswarar (Lord of medicine). The temple was built in the Pallava period in the 8th century and has been renovated multiple times since then. This temple is an important Shiva temple and an important pilgrimage center.
