The traditional worship method at Ekambaranathar Temple in Chennai follows the Agama and Panchar...atra Agama. According to these two Agamas, priests perform abhishekams, archana (chanting of mantras), homams (yagna), suprabhatams (morning prayers) and arathis (evening prayers) daily. The daily pujas start at 8.00 am in the morning and continue till 8.00 pm in the evening. In addition to daily poojas, special poojas are performed on Fridays and full moon days.
