The temple is known for its unique form of worship. Nellaiappar Temple has three different timings for its worship and these are Nityakalyana Sankalpam, Bhramotsavam and Jayanthi Utsavam. Nityakalyana Sankalpam is carried out in the morning and evening with the offerings of flowers, fruits, milk etc. to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings.
