St. Martin's Church -Chur In Switzerland is a Roman Catholic Church located in Chur, the capital of Graubünden, Switzerland. It is the oldest church in Chur, dating back to the 8th century. The church encompasses a mixture of early Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque styles. The nave, which is the main body of the church, dates from the beginning of the 13th century, while the choir and the great bell tower both date from the 15th century. The interior contains several works of art, including a wonderful fresco by Bartolomeo Altomonte from 1717. The church has been renovated and restored several times, most recently in the 19th century. The church holds regular Masses and services in Latin and German, and is open to visitors year-round.
