Lausanne Free Church in Switzerland is an English-speaking church located in the city of Lausanne, Switzerland. It is a member of the International Churches of Christ. The church began in the mid-90s when a group of internationals, mainly Americans, began meeting in the home of an American couple who had moved to Lausanne from San Francisco. Today, the church has a membership of around 200 people of over 30 nationalities. It is one of the best churches in Switzerland which you must visit.

History:

The Lausanne Free Church was founded in the mid-1990s by a group of Americans who had moved to Lausanne from the San Francisco Bay Area. The church was affiliated with the International Churches of Christ and was independent and self-supporting. In 2001, the church became affiliated with the Farel reformed church and in 2014, Lausanne Free Church became part of the United Reformed Church. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Switzerland.
