is the Christian Congregational church in Nieuw Amsterdam, Suriname. The church was established by Rev. F.C. Kiel in 1974 as one of the first Christian congregations in Nieuw Amsterdam. It was established because of the needs of the growing population in Nieuw Amsterdam at the time. The church is part of the Worldwide Christian Congregational Alliance and was the first church dedicated to the preaching of the Christian Congregational gospel in Suriname. The church is affiliated with the United Congregational Church of South Africa and the United Church of Christ in the United States of America. The church is governed by the local Church Council of Nieuw Amsterdam and is currently pastored by Rev. Mario L. Gunn. It is one of the best churches in Suriname which you must visit.
