is an organization created to promote the understanding and celebrate the history of the Creoles, Maroons, Hindustanes and Javanese in Suriname. The organization is based in Paramaribo and its mission is to research, preserve and share the achievements and history of these four communities through combining research, art, culture and education. The organization organizes activities such as lectures, workshops and community gatherings focused on the history and culture of these four communities. Additionally, Eben-Haëzer provides educational materials and services for both local and international communities. It also works to support and empower local communities through initiatives such as capacity building, developing infrastructure and providing jobs to help these communities reach their social and economic goals.
