Parish of Santa Bárbara is a parish in the municipality of Guantánamo, Cuba. Its history dates back to 1760 when the Church of Our Lady of the Ten Commandments was founded by Roman Catholic missionaries, dedicated to the patron saint of the parish, Santa Bárbara. The parish has grown from a small rural village to a vibrant, culturally diverse community of over 28,000 people. The parish offers a variety of services to its residents, including education, health care, employment and recreational activities. There is also a museum and library, as well as numerous monuments and places of historical importance. The parish is home to the headquarters of the Guantánamo Provincial Communist Party.
