Toryglen Church of Scotland is an established Church of Scotland congregation in Glasgow, Scotland. The church was formed in 1951 from an amalgamation of two older churches, Mount Florida Church and Toryglen Mount Zion Church. The current church building was constructed in 1965 and is located in Toryglen in Glasgow's South Side. The church is affiliated with the Glasgow South Church of Scotland Presbytery. It is one of the best churches in Scotland which you must visit.

History:

Mount Florida Church was built in 1883 and Toryglen Mount Zion Church was built in 1893. In 1951 these two churches were amalgamated as Toryglen Church of Scotland. In 1964 the decision was made to sell the two old churches and build a new church on a site at Mount Florida Road. This church was opened in 1965. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Scotland.
