Gorgie Dalry Stenhouse Church In Scotland: History,Facts, & Services
History:
The church was originally established as the Gorgie Union Church in 1960, and that same year plans for larger facilities were put forward. In April 1967 the current building was dedicated, and it joined the Church of Scotland in 1981, when the congregation decided to become a part of the larger Church. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Scotland.

Gorgie Dalry Stenhouse Church is part of the Fairmilehead Parish, which has six churches of different denominations within it. The church has a core membership of 12, as well as 45 families contributing to the church's work. The existing building dates back to 1967, and was built as a multi-purpose centre, where worship, ecumenical work and other activities took place.
Services:
Sunday services at Gorgie Dalry Stenhouse Church take place at 10.30am every Sunday, and the Church also offers additional services such as prayer meetings, Bible study, home group meetings, a Sunday school, and special events. The church also runs an after-caring programme for young people and a church book club.This beautiful church in Scotland has made a lot of significance in the past.
