The church was founded in 1904 and was originally called West Knightswood Church. For many years the church was served by Rev. Robert Bremner and it received its present name in 1952. The present building dates from 1957 and was designed by architect A.P. Thomson. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Scotland.
