Fintry Parish Church of Scotland was first established in the early 18th century, with the first church building (known as the 'Old Kirk of Fintry') being completed in 1800 . The current church building was inaugurated in 1846 and major renovations to the church were carried out in 1871. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Scotland.
