History:
The Falkland Parish Church is part of Scotland's Church of Scotland. It has stood in the parish of Falkland since before 1150, and is steeped in history. It is believed to be the only surviving pre-reformation parish church in Scotland. Originally the parish church stood on the site of the ruins of Cromwell’s Castle further up the hill.
